Super Galaxy Meow Meow
SuperGalaxyMeowMeow is the A/V project of Tom Hulland and Wawa, built as a playground for experimenting with audio, visuals, and creative technologies.
At its core is human connection which explores themes like Reciprocity, where technology is treated as an instrument for deep listening. Light and sound folding into one another in a living feedback loop, co-creating the performance moment by moment.
Mutek Montreal 2026 Open Art Call
As part of our MUTEK Montréal 2026 Open Call for Artists submission, Reciprocity is an improvised A/V performance by SuperGalaxyMeowMeow (Tom Hulland + Wawa), built as a live feedback conversation between laser-generated visuals and sound. Light leads: Tom’s laser patterns drive the sound, which Wawa transforms live, and the resulting audio feeds back to reshape the lasers so neither medium illustrates the other. Sparked by the question, “what sound would a laser make if it could speak?”, the work explores reciprocity, interdependence, and deep listening in each moment.
